Have in-depth knowledge for ingredients/raw materials used in compliance to FDA, Credo beauty, Clean at Sephora, EWG, Vegan, Cruelty free, NPA, NSF/ANSI 305, WFM, ECOCERT & other Global compliance.
Initial 14 years of career spent in R&D labs working myself on bench on formulation development-innovation of the new formulas based on clients/marketing project brief.
Almost 7 years spent in mentoring junior chemists/formulators apart from working myself on bench as well, managing/directing the team of R&D, process engineer and regulatory professional for strategic planning, development/innovation, approvals of formulations from clients, regulatory compliance documentation, setting up final formulations in ERP system to technology transfer to manufacturing/compounding.
Assisted clients and in-house business development/sales team to create their technical pink writing for their marketing brochure and mentor them to communicate technically to clients for contract manufacturing business.
Managed annual budget for R&D expenses, tracking the performance of the team through KPI & performance evaluation of team members and setting up their annual goals for each year.
Have immense experience working with contract manufacturer (CM), R&D and brand’s R&D. Have good working/dealing experience with third party clinical testing labs, Directors and VPs of Product development and marketing of various leading brands in US and global market & working in cross functional team.
